Whether you're just beginning or looking to deepen your practice, Zest  Tai Chi provides a welcoming space to grow at your own pace. 

Your Instructor – Gerard

Gerard is a highly experienced Tai Chi teacher with over 25 years of dedicated practice and teaching. His approach is grounded, approachable, and focused on helping students build long-term physical and mental well-being. Having studied traditional Tai Chi Chuan extensively, he brings deep insight into its practical benefits. He creates a supportive environment where students feel encouraged, whether they are complete beginners or experienced practitioners. His qualifications in educational psychology and teaching, also give him an enhanced capacity for motivating students to learn and enjoy their practice in Tai chi.

Positive Eco-therapeutic Guide

In addition to his Tai Chi expertise, Gerard is a qualified Ecotherapeutic Guide and leads groups in Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing) sessions, using nature-based practices to enhance well-being, reduce stress, and promote mental clarity. 

Corporate Services

Gerard also works with business owners and corporate leaders and teams, offering transformative experiences in Regenerative Leadership. Gerard  integrates mindfulness, sustainable leadership practices, and nature connection to help individuals and organizations cultivate balance, creativity, and resilience in both personal and professional settings.
